Really lovely webinar Nisha! Thank you! We are still learning how to use V3 but with being a reactive company, It is difficult to read through the functions. Do you have a basic/beginner webinar of V3 to send over so we can compare it with the V4? That would be a great help – Thank you!

Can you show us the customer feedback section?
Customer feedback is not a current feature in Commusoft

When are we looking to get this system live?
You will receive updates via email regarding release dates, please keep an eye on these as you will also be receiving more information of future webinars

Is there a cost differences?
For all questions regarding costing and modules within the package, please email client service who will passed your enquire to the correct team.

When on both original & soft version will both systems update anything that is added
The two systems will not talk to each other. We will simply create a copy of your database and put this into the new system. You can use the old system in this stage so you can continue your business, however you will be required to use the new system in this time, then confirm you are ready to use the new system as your main software. Once you have confirmed we will create another copy (to ensure everything is up to date) and turn off the old system for you.

Could you show us a jobs in progress report please?

Can you raise a quote from a current job without having to raise a separate quote ?
This has been answered and shown within the webinar by Nisha. For your reference these will be known as additional works and can be directly attached to a job

Some of our customer log on to our customer zone is that going to change when the new system starts ?
The customer portal will not be available in the early stages of the new software. It will be available and has been updated to match the new style of Commusoft.

Can you raise legionnaires certificates or can we make our own certificate up ?

Can we have a customer as a one off job eg visiting a property where it is for sale and we shall never return ?
The main workflow of commusoft remains the same, customer, job, invoice. Therefore you will need to add the customer, with basic details (surname, address line 1) then you can add the job

Also is it possible to log smoke alarms for landlords on the gas safety certificates as this is regularly asked for

Is there a cut off for migration? or Is there a date when we will be automatically migrated?
There will be a stage where Commusoft support will no longer update the current system. You can still use the current  system, however there will be limited support for it, we would recommend that you upgrade as soon as your business is ready to.

Can you add in health and safety forms that the engineers have to tick prior to completing jobs- to comply with new construction phase plan
You can type your own questions to ask the engineers when they arrive/leave site. You can set these as required or not, you can set these as tick answers, long answers etc.

Are you able to edit the landlord’s address on the CP12 ? We work for an agent who requires the landlord’s address on the certificates
Yes.

We are taking on a new office admin girl should i wait until we are on the new software as in effect we are going to have train her twice
You can decide when you start using the new system.

We would like to start as soon as possible to save training twice
Unfortunately the new system is not ready as the migration process takes some time. We will keep you updated with more information. You can view the knowledge base whenever you like to start training. If you do decide to train your staff on the current system, the main workflow of commusoft remains the same.

Are you also saying a lot of the features are an optional extra

Is there not a demo site
Unfortunately we do not have a demo account available for you to use

Will our letterheads etc come over with the hard migration
Yes.

Can you use underline and bold in quotations?
Yes you can customise the text within the estimate (much like you would within microsoft word)

Can you add a discount to the invoice. Say if you have an old age pensioner and normally charge £50.00 for a service but would like to give a 10% discount

Will the contacts from the old commusoft go on to the new Commusoft
Yes, almost all of your data will be migrated. You will be informed of any data that will not be migrated nearer the time of migration. Please keep an eye on your emails for updates.

When we down load version 4 & start using will that also download the app for the engineers phones
You will need to download the app from the relevant app store. The applications are separate as some clients will be using the new system, while some will be using the current

Hi there, with the invoicing, will the ‘description’ that normally shows on the commusoft invoice be transferred across to quickbooks to that if invoices are chased from quickbooks there are details on them detailing the works done?
I will need to check this further with my technical team. I will email you after the webinar with more information

Is it possible to place an ‘advertising’ drop down on the new customer creation screen to act as a prompt to staff, so it can be entered as part of the primary details, Rather than having to click on ‘edit’ afterwards to get to that input field.
Yes, this is available on the add customer screen.

Is there an option to send out customer statements along with an invoice when completing a job, i.e.as a reminder if there are unpaid previous invoices?

Are there ‘labels’ or similar that can be put on jobs or visits classing them as ‘pending’ or ‘awaiting parts’ etc
Yes, we have the option to place the job on hold. You can add on hold descriptions in settings.

Can you assign a single work address to multiple clients, e.g. for doing work at one point for the tenant and at another time carrying out works on behalf of the property management company or landlord?
No, you can book estimates/jobs for the work addresses and for the company itself.

I had trouble joining so have on been on for ten minutes. will be new mobile version to download for fitter ipads at same time so we can introduce them to it.
When the system is available there will be a new mobile app too. This has been redesigned and has more functionality compared to our old product. We will be showing the mobile devices in future webinars. Please keep an eye on your emails for updates
