Connect & Preview 2025: Our Biggest Community Event Yet!

September 30, 2025 | Read: 7 minutes

Connect & Preview 2025 proved to be an even bigger and better success than last year’s amazing premier event.

The day itself was all about looking ahead, connecting with our community, and showcasing the future of Commusoft.

It was a great way to learn more about the progress that Commusoft and our clients have been making this year…

The response to the day itself was really quite incredible and hosting so many wonderful clients—this year at Sea Containers in London—helped to make the day even more special.

We were thrilled to welcome over 150+ guests from all across the UK to connect with us and preview the exciting tools, tweaks, and updates that our team have been hard at work on.

The energy in the room was electric, with buzzing conversations, and so many great reactions to the features we revealed.

Below, we’ll share an overview of what happened on the day itself and provide some insights about the features that were shown, too.

Keep in mind that while we previewed some exciting updates on the day itself, it’s still only a taste of the full list that’s on its way.

So, if you don’t want to miss out, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter, and keep your eyes peeled for more updates:

Connect & Preview: As it Happened

The day kicked off with welcoming our guests to the venue: Sea Containers, along London’s Southbank.

The weather was excellent, the views even more-so, and it gave us an amazing location to greet familiar faces and welcome a host of newcomers, too.

The day kicked off as any good day should: with a strong brew, good food, and easy conversation to get settled…

With everyone in, we shifted our focus over to the auditorium.

This space not only had a great view across the River Thames, but gave everyone the chance to clearly see Jason’s speech:

A Glimpse into the Future of Commusoft

The keynote presentation from our founder, Jason Morjaria, was all about sharing Commusoft’s vision for the future of field service management—a future that’s more connected, intelligent, and efficient.

The goal of the showcase was to demonstrate how people can get to know their business again, inside and out, by using software tools that enable them to do more, whilst taking away extra strain.

In his speech, Jason made clear the power of an event like connect and preview. It helps us highlight how attendees can use technology to improve their business to save them time, and money.

Jason walked our guests through a host of new features, updates and add-ons (more on these below), explaining how they’ve each been designed to solve the real-world problems that our clients are facing.

In fact, many ideas came from client feedback: another testament to the power these events!

Jason announced five major upcoming releases, including an overhaul to reporting, as well as 4 brand new features. These were:

  • UPDATE: Reporting
  • NEW Feature: Variations
  • NEW Add-On: Analytics+
  • NEW Feature: Onsite Tasks
  • NEW Add-On: AI:den+

The focus is clear: we’re providing powerful tools that help engineers, streamline business operations, and stop revenue leakage across the board.

What’s on the Horizon?

While we’ll be sharing plenty more details as each feature is released, Jason gave an exciting preview of what each update will mean for our clients. He explained how:

  • Variations will empower engineers to professionally quote and document scope changes while still on-site, ensuring they get paid for all the work they do.
  • The update to our standard Reporting suite will provide an even clearer view of day-to-day business health and operational efficiency.
  • For those ready to dive deeper into their data, the new Analytics+ add-on will offer sophisticated, consolidated reporting to help users make confident, data-fuelled decisions.
  • We also previewed Onsite Tasks, a feature designed to standardise excellence by embedding a company’s best practices directly into their engineers’ workflow.
  • Finally, and perhaps most exciting of all: Jason introduced AI:den+, our new AI add-on that turns complex data into simple, automated actions, freeing up your team to focus on the work that matters most.

In the demo, Jason showed how AI:den+ will assist engineers by turning audio recordings into written job notes, saving them time and accurately recording all the data they need.

This is just one of the many tasks AI:den+ will assist with:

We have two principles in mind. One that should focus on improving productivity for your existing employees, reducing friction.

The second is to actively drive down business overheads with AI.”

Jason Morjaria, Connect & Preview 2025

As we said, there’s plenty more to learn about these features, and you’ll be able to find out more, very soon.

We expect the release of certain features in late 2025, with further releases in 2026.

Connect & Preview: Thoughts from the Community

A highlight for us is to hear all sorts of useful feedback throughout the day, as well as gather more ideas about how to improve out products and services.

The excitement for the new features was palpable, especially where AI was concerned.

It’s almost everywhere these days, but we’re determined to ensure it will factor meaningfully into Commusoft’s systems, not as a novelty.

Paul McDonald, from HTS Property Services, who attended on the day, told us that AI really stood out to him:

“It’s definitely gonna be a huge thing in the industry for us; especially when it comes to invoicing and estimates.”

Similarly, Analytics+ was a highlight for Calvin Smith of CS Heating and Plumbing, who thoroughly enjoyed the day, saying:

“I sat there and all I could think was, oh, that’s gonna solve that problem, that’s gonna solve that problem. It’s brilliant.”

There was also Shaker, one of our longest serving users, visiting from WPJ Heating, who called the new features “a game changer”, elaborating that:

“Analytics+ looks like a great move. Overall Commusoft never disappoints and we hope you guys continue with the good work.”

Even better, is that positive sentiment came from old and new clients alike.

For instance, Joanne Setter from Duplex Cleaning Machines, who’s only been with Commusoft for a year, told us that:

“[The event] has given us a lot of motivation to go back to the office and really get our teeth into Commusoft. It’s really insightful”.

It’s sentiment like that which motivates us to go even further!

Connect & Preview: There’s More to Come…

Overall, Connect & Preview 2025 was a fantastic opportunity for our team to hear directly from the people who use Commusoft every day and for our clients to network, share insights, and learn from one another, too.

We’d like to express a huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make Connect & Preview 2025 such a roaring success.

Stay tuned for more details, but until then, we’re already counting down the days until the next one: we hope you are, too!
