Automatically share the engineer profile when you travel
The engineer profile portal is shared via SMS text message when the engineer taps ‘Travel’ and makes their way to the job site. The customer can click the link within the text message to view the engineer’s profile. If you do not use of vehicle tracking feature, the customer will see the engineer profile with name, photo, industry credentials, and job description. This provides the customer with a professional service and offers reassurance as to who is going be completing the work.
Tracking functionality to reduce no-access jobs
When used with our Real-Time Vehicle Tracking feature, the customer will see the engineer’s route to their location and current ETA. By providing a responsive ETA, that will adjust if the engineer is stuck in traffic or takes a wrong turn, the customer will know exactly when to expect you. This allows them to tidy up or make the service area safe, or return to the property. In turn, this reduces no-access situations or hold ups – creating a smoother experience for everyone.
Share location only when the engineer travels
As soon as the engineer marks themselves as ‘Arrived’ or if they were to cancel the job for any reason, the software will no longer share their location with the customer. The engineer profile portal will update accordingly to let the customer know the new status, ensuring that the customer can only track the engineer when it’s appropriate.
